In my curiosity to understand why the movie is been hyped all over social media, I have learned valuable lessons that have touched me deep within after watching the comic and educative movie.


Their history, beliefs, and practices have shaped their existence. After seeing the movie, "A Tribe Called Judah" the following are my take home.
1. We can still live together in love and unity despite our different religious or ethnic background.
Mama J had 5 Sons from different men with different ethnic background. They lived in peace and watched each other's back.

Who said Christians and Muslims cannot live together in peace?

Who said Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo, Ibibio and Efik cannot dine and wine on the same table?

It's so possible when we refuse the antics of unscrupulous political and religious leaders who for their selfish interest uses religion and ethnicity to promote hatred and violence.

2. The movie portrayed the danger of irresponsible intake of Alcohol.
Mama J was so much into alcohol, and it led to her kidney failure.

3. There are friends that sticks closer than a brother.
Shina Judah though had a bad gang as friends, but they stood by him and assisted his family flee from Chairman who was desperate to eliminate them.
